what charger is for the automobile excal II? i see on minelab site it says ni-cad I thought it is a ni-mh? help

excal II battery charger?help

That is what they send you but they work fine. You would think a better charger would be in order for the price. I would much rather have a better charger than a dive shaft since I don't dive. BUT I'm not complaining as I have been fortunate enough to find precious metal to barter for things such as charger and other accessories with the Excallibur. HH

I have two of them and they are fast charging and highly portable.

Check out Accucel 6 charger from hobby city. $25 for a computerized/screen charger that will do things chargers costing over $100 won't. look up long excal battery thread in this forum. details there.
