I have noticed lately some owners of the Excalibur are changing their stock "Hardwired" Coils and installing a Quick Release waterproof plug so they can use the Coiltek 15" coil and others.Has anyone reading this done it,where can the cable ends be purchased .Are there instructions on re soldering the color keyed wires.?...Any help would be great.!

OldBeechnut is the most knowledgeable person that I know on that subject. Read his posts.

Maybe a few months before I come up with anything that works 100% in the water, so far all I have used leaks in time.

These are up and coming but need tested. They work fine on the headphone side but coil side is much different. All will be made into the endcap, the one in the middle is the same that is used on the CTX, I was finally able to locate the same brand, and a 4 lead. The other UTS Souriau they seem to be the best, IP68 69K.............. will know more in a few months.

Joe.... what is ML using on the CTX or the Garrett Inf?
