Excalibur II coil cable - relaxation

sdesic

New member
Hi guys,

my Excalibur coil cable has been on stock shaft for a long time and it is stiff.
I need to relax it a bit so I can use Excalibur on hip mount.
If I unwind it is still curled up ...
Any ideas?
(no heat gun idea please)

Thanks!

I silicon grease them good, let them set, then and unwind over a day period of time putting them under stress by stretching out. I have use the sun and heat guns also with no issues. But to much heat will run your day for sure.

Thanks OBN, what kind on silicone grease do you use?
For battery connector and other parts too.

McNett silicon spray or Trident silicon lube
