was hunting with a freind and he had an E- track, the grass was tall and he was 4" of the ground and still hit hard on a iron ring with brass on it had to dig 10" at least and he was swinging 4" off the ground sure seems to me the E-track is deep . He let me swing it and it was confusing to me i dont know its language so i had to revert back to my GT but the E- track is a intresting machine for sure

Glad you got to use the Etrac for a bit Gunnar.----Yes, it's language does take some getting used to.-----I can still remember what it was like for me when I started with the XS some years back. :)---------Del

haha yes its almost like learning a foriegn language but once it clicks the finds are amazing cant help smiling everytime i dig something great up WHOOOOPEE

for me it was not only like learning a foreign language....it was like learning it from someone talking excitedly or in a complete panic. pretty tough for me at first....but im really getting the hang of it now. cant wait to get out with it...i dont know whats more valuable, nice finds or TIME to make nice finds.

You know we were in a nail infested spot and the nails had a good sound to them how do you guys deal with that ? joe told me to watch the box and if it stays at the top its a good target but if it drops its Iron
