Got my 800 a few hours ago. I have read everything and watched all the videos over the last few months...made notes.....watched and read again. :thumbup:

So off I go to my test garden. Got most of it right but then there were those "wait....what?, I thought I knew all about that" moments. :blink:

But I'm getting there. Tomorrow will be a nice day so it's off to the park to get down to the nitty-gritty. (I'll be taking the manual along. LOL)
 
I'll be surprised if you don't enjoy it since you already know his parents. :twodetecting::detecting:
 
Yeah, you will get the hang of it pretty quickly. After a couple of times through the menu and advanced settings it becomes pretty straight forward. Then you can customize tones, etc. It loves the lower conductors like nickels! Good luck!!
