Explorer II or SE?????

beenas

New member
Hi everyone, i currently own a XS, and want to get a new one, would like to know from the users, if it should be the Explorer II, or the SE, wich one is the better unit..

I heard about that flux thingy...I want one!

I own an Explore II and have tried an SE for a couple of hours and after talking with a good friend/dealer for all practical purposes I couldn't justify upgrading and getting an SE. After running an XS and now explorer 2 for almost 5 years I just didn't see that big of difference between the SE and ExpII.

Now if someone didn't have an explorer already then I would say get an SE for sure! If you going to start might as well start with the newest technology :)

I'll just wait for the next new machine Minelab puts out :) Explorer line that is :)

If you have the money then the SE would be the one(I don't own one) but if you have an Explorer and want to justify the money, then the 2 would be the way to go. I have both the Explorer and the XS 2 and unles it does have the Flux Capacitor I'll wait. Many good things said about the SE and the changes and the few changes people liked, you just have to decide if you want to buy an XS 2 at a GREAT price or upgrade to the SE. Either way you won't go wrong!

I wonder what Minelab will put out next after the SE. Could be worth the wait - but then again, the wait may be long.
I use EX-II, SE is better but not a big margin jump for me to justify.
