F-75 LTD field info for those interested.

You're doing fine, don't worry about it. I certainly wasn't offended about it because I know going into it that folks will be skeptical. That is natural and necessary. I've harped for years that a person's opinion about a detector is just that and should not be another person's MAIN reason to get a certain detector. By now, you should know if an F-75 ot T-2 is a detector that fits your needs and style. If an F-75 with a new level of depth performance is even a better fit, then your gut should be rumbling. Good luck in your searching.

compared to the regular version. Battery life is by no means an issue with me but, it will answer a question I got floating around in the ole noggin. ;)

Tom

No indication of anything different yet, Tom. I've got 30+ hours and it's still full scale.

That's the answer I was looking for!

now you have me in the WWTD (what would Tom do) mode of thinking. Stay at it, Bud!

do I buy a new one now... or...?

A man's integrity cannot be bought. Regardless of what he paid for the machine, if you accept the man's integrity, how should that affect his field testing?
I think Mike offered some insight into First Texas' process for selecting their testers. I don't mean to offend anyone, but I just choose to accept a man at his word....... until he pees on my shoes! LOL

So the new one works better than the old one.
Why would they make a new one that did otherwise.
Of course it had to be better ... else no one would dump the old one and buy the new one.
Only when they stop making the old one and it becomes hard to get will it become more desirable than the new one.
Unless ... they only make a limited number of the new one thus making it instantly more desirable because of the possibility one might not be available.
However, I am willing to bet the limited number is large enough to cover the demand for years to come.

This has been a great thread, and very interesting report on the new F75 ltd. My main question is, does anyone know if the limited edition is so limited that it wont be for sale in other perts of the world, specifically Australia, or , if it will reach our far flung shores, will it be only for a limited time and how limited that time will be....it is probably trite to say that our "holiday periods" differ from those is the US, but things like this included in product promotion can muddy the waters a bit. Thanks for any help. Sorry to be a nuisance.

i'm with you willee!..when henry ford started to mass produce the model t,..he stated. "ya can have it in any color as long as it's "black"...limited?...hmmmmm!

i am in total agreement with that analogy, however i must point out a lot of people are running around with "wet" shoes these days!..unfortunately!

Amen! jmaryt. I agree. And I should have just kept my big mouth shut. I apologize to any and all that I may have offended. I have a tendency to be brutally blunt at times, and I allow it to be manifested before I think enough about it. Again, I apologize.

Man Oh Man! I'd love to get one of these new LTD's......... but after just a month ago, getting the F75 itself....... and on a school teacher's salary...... ain't no way! I'd love it for what seems to be greater depth capabilities...... but also........ since Camo is almost a religion here in south Arkansas with all the deer and duck hunting going on..... I think the Camo itself would make me the hit of the Relic Woods! :csflag::heh:

Now youse guys just stop gittin me all excited about nuther nu tector!!----I just tole the wife I wasn't goin to buy NO MORE TECTORS (fer awhile anyway).---How am I goin to ever sleep at night now?---Where do I git 1 of these buggars? :lmfao: ---------Del

no apology necessary!..it's a fact!..as john wayne once said and i quote!.."life is tough!..it's even tougher if you are stupid!"

(h.h!)

I have a friend that frequents the forums here almost daily. He posted on Facebook...... "If stupidity hurt, there'd be a lot of people walking around screaming!:

He said the battery life is the same in another post as the F75
