F/S N.Y. Excal almost one of a kind.

Your hunting in rough surf with your detector in one hand and a scoop in the other and you decide that you want to change modes from Disc. to all metal PP. What you have to do is let go of your scoop and reach over and and turn the mode knob, what a pain that can be. I have decided to do a push button mod on this machine that I had for sale last month. The unit is water proof to the rating of the push button which is one meter, usually underrated. The push button has an IP67 rating and is good for at least 300k operations, It's totally encapsulated in epoxy and the handle is foam filled and will not leak. I have left a long cable on the push button in case you want to hip mount the detector. It has the newer Tornado coil with cover and yellow headphones. Also included is a manual, charger and adapter. The shaft is a combination of Garrett and Whites parts plus a few of my own. $850 shipped to lower 48
