F series

I got a Patriot lately too, and splurged on the small concentric coil. That seems like it will be very useful.
Just bought one for 180. It will replace my f2 . Will give that to neighbors for the kids. They will have fun. Bullets and othe stuff to be found. Across the river from fighting they camped here. A 57 is a bullet. So much to be found. Interesting why they dropped their cleaners they would jam the barrel with the copper ring. Many Winsley cleaners found. They would piss in the barrel to clean it. Have fun. F2 has a good tight tid. Great for kids my son at 8 years old found first eagle button with it. Have fun life is short.

Read the various reports on it from many users---also---the unavailability of coils (other than the 11" stock coil).
Minelab did release an update for the iron and other general stability issues. Also they are now preparing to release the M8 and M15. Better late then never lol
If I have missed something else users are complaining about, please advise.

Still have the F75 75th Anniversary - been years so probably has a layer of dust on it unless the wife took a Dust Buster to it. Never did add any other coil for it.

Just compared my goldbug to 800 the goldbug was much more effective. The 800 seemed to null . Tried different modes didn't make a difference. Actually my f5 in all metal was better. To each there own. Multi might be not what you really expect.
Been running my F5 since 2014, can't see any reason to change, it does it all.
I like my f5 in all-metal it does well.very nice audio . Nice big display for old folks . 35 on gain is about right..

Wow. Anybody out there still running these machines? I remember this forum busting with threads on a daily basis. I'm still running mine!! .... hhricknmi
Ohyea I have had good success with the f70 & 75 let me tell you how awsome fisher was repairing my screen on the f70 I bought second hand!! It had moisture inside and it needed repair First Texas had me back in action quickly and NO COST!!
I really like everything about the F series machines. I hunt in places where the iron is terrible and both machines have done me well. I keep swinging it
