F2 3 coil combo

Hi as some of you may know, I started with an F2 and two coils, the 4 and 8 inch. I sold it and moved on to and F5. My mistake. The F5 is a more capable machine but for my hunting style I had to buy another F2. This time I went three coils with the addition of the 10 inch. This in MHO is a great combo and great value for money. The 10 inch is great for the open areas of parks as it it more harmonious with my stride distance. Two sweeps per pace as opposed to three sweeps per stride. Keeps me nice and balanced. Even if this 10" coil was no deeper I would still use it on oven fields but I hear it's slightly deeper. As soon as I get closer to the spectator edge of fields I swap to the 8" and when it gets trashy I slip the 4 inch on. The ability of this machine to pinpoint to a penny sized area or smaller is incredible. The F5 may be better for old deep silver but there is not too much of that about in Australia.

Has the new f2 arrived yet?... I would like to have a go with an etrac or something just to see what there like.. but for what we do the f2 / f4 are perfect, I hve worked out how to tell the difference between our old tiny !c piece and the $2.. they have the same vdi.. but the pinpointer on the f4 shows the difference.. saves me time. I broke my record the other Sunday $86.. was trying to get $100.. but it rained.

Yes It has, hence my comment on the 10" coil. Try before you buy, those things are good but pull your arm off. I had a bike accident after drinking one day and separated my shoulder so I like light detectors, How does the pinpointer help discriminate? my record is about 65
Hey well done in the World cup

yeah.. good game aye...
The pinpoiter gives a different "size" tone as you pass it over an object.. the $2 has a bigger tone than the 1c... depth does not change the tone size interestingly..
