F5 or F70

I don't want to spend a lot of money anymore on a new machine and I had the F5 before that was quite awhile ago.I've been thinking of getting another fisher but could go for a F70.
Is there that big a difference between the two.
I know the 70 is a better machine but is it worth the difference in cost.
thanks

Get the Gold Bug Pro, it's a great all rounder and a better bang for the buck.

My F5 is in the corner collecting dust since I got the Gold Bug Pro.

The F70'is a little deeper and great for relics! F5 is an awesome coin machine!! I sent you a PM!

Yes the F70 is worth the cost differential. It can distinguish between targets much better and does have better depth and id at depth.

In noisy areas I have trouble with the big 11" DD coil, but if I switch to the 5" DD coil it still rocks on depth and target id.

Whatever unit you choose, get the 5" DD coil. The little guy has awesome depth for its size and its ability to identify closely co-located junk/good targets is phenomenal.

I never thought about the Goldbug Pro and I don't think I heard raves about it
IS it prrrty good on coins. The only knock I had on the 5 was after 4 or 5" it didnt know what it was.It would say something was there but not what it indicated.
I had a lot of dimes that turned out to be nails. I'll have to research on the Pro
thanks

Check out the Gold Bug Pro / G2 forum here.

Also look in the Fisher Classic area as there are some posts there too.
