Actually this happened w/ a T2 but I figure it will probably apply to the F75 as well.
I was detecting w/ a friend who was using the T2 awhile back, and during a brief lull in detecting he complained about difficulty ground balancing his machine, and erratic operation. He said that occasionally, while detecting, his machine would suddenly go haywire, with multi-tone beeps and numbers jumping all around, regardless of sensitivity settings, disc., etc.
At first, one would suspect power line interference, but we were out in the boonies, so I asked him if he was carrying his cellphone--turned out he was.
He turned his cellphone off and his machine ran smooth the rest of the day, groundbalanced just fine, etc..
What we THINK was going on w/ the cellphone is, because of the remote area we were in, the phone would occasionally lose signal and start "searching" for a signal. This would explain why the problem was an occasional one, rather than a constant one.
Also, apparently the cellphone doesn't even need to be on your person to cause interference--if you're detecting w/ a friend and he's carrying a cellphone, it can cause interference if you're in close proximity to it.
Anyway, hope this might help with anyone who's had similar problems.
