F75 LTD better coil 15" fisher or 14" Excelerator or SEF

Going to swing on some tailing piles looking for ounce or more size nuggets - will be at it a few days - quite a bit of trash - low mineralization. Which coil would be better on the F75 LTD - want to go as deep as possible and not miss to many of the smaller nuggets.

The quality control on the Fisher is much better. Generally the smaller coils are more sensitive.

You might consider getting Doc's Swingy Thingy, or a sling of some kind. to offset the weight/poor balance of the coil. Especially in tailings piles, which can be tricky/awkward to manuever, even with a stock coil. Hope you find the 'big nugs'.

Save your money use the stock 11" DD or the 5" DD Funky Terrain and those big coils you will spend more time resting lol. GL

I have a 15" coil over on Friendly metal detector forum under classifieds if you want to try one. Same user name as here.

The white 15" DD on my LTD is better able to see my buried $1 type 1 gold piece in my test bed compared to the standard elliptical 11". I continue to be surprised at its sensitivity to small, low conductors.

Now only if it could be put on a diet...

I have one for sale.
