f75 ltd question

2 Much Trash

Well-known member
If you took away the digital display screen on the f75 ltd and had to depend on its tone only how would one fair in a relic hunting situation?
Thanks, bill in va.

A lot would depend on the ability to have delta pitch or 3 tones to give iron a lower tone. With a single tone, it would be a matter of digging everything with a good signal. I think one would still fare well, but, it would require more work.

The F 75 LTD is actually a very good relic hunting detector. One of the best, in fact. With its tone options and various modes to select from, the display isn't necessary and all good sounding targets are usually dug anyway, regardless of whether a detector has a screen or not. Considering it has great depth and has wonderful target separation when hunting in trash and iron, the LTD makes for an excellent relic machine, with or without a screen. But, the screen is nice for getting a little more information. HH jim tn

Big Jim,
Thanks for your response. You understood my question and gave me, a 30 year analog user, an answer I could understand.
