F75 LTD2 Volume Knob Problem

Anyone have a solution for the volume knob getting bumped out of adjustment? Seems to happen to me once or twice each time I'm out. At first I thought I was going deaf or that there was a short circuit somewhere. I thought about putting a rubber o-ring under the knob like I've done on my Tesoros. But the knob doesn't seem to want to be pulled off its spindle.

I keep the rain/dust cover on mine and it seems to keep enough friction on the knob that it stays put.

you could try using a rubber band... just loop one end over the knob.. stretch it around the housing and loop the other end over the knob. I'd use a light weight rubber band so it would put too much stress on the switch..

I dont have that issue however if you install the cover over the battery housing then just stitch on a piece of velcro to cover knob that will fix it.. Make it like a flap stitched below the lift over knob and velcro down above knob

Battery housing cover. Many times I would be going down the road and hear the F75 overloading in back. Cover solved it.

Find out what you are rubbing the knob on while you swing, maybe remove something unless it is your pants:lol: or reposition something.

o-ring might work.
I put a paper washer under the knob on my F70. I think it is the same knob.
The added friction kept it from turning easily when I swing and also turning on in my bag.
But I think I got used to swinging it a little more away from my body too.
So it doesn't rub as much.

I have that problem all the time, here's what i did , I'm useing the older bqattery box cover not that crappy new type that is like a sponge, get's wet all the time, well thats another story, I sewed a wide strap over the knob and made it fasten with VELCO so it fit "TIGHTLY" over the knob, My knob hits my coin punch that is attached on the right side of my army pistol belt, since I modified the cover I don't have that problem anymore.
