F75 or T2?

I currently use the F70 and I'm happy with it but I want to explore my options. I am looking at the F75 ltd and T2 ltd. I hunt fields where old houses once sat so heavy iron. Also I'm in Indiana so little mineralization.

I had an F70 and that is a great machine..i now have the F75LTD2 and love it.. The F75 has a few more options over the F70 but i dont think it goes deeper, maybe a little.. I like the handle better on F75… the T2se is great also..larger iron range.. All of them are deep.. The fisher coils will interchange while teknetics wont.. If your after relics then maybe T2. Coins F75...

I also have the opportunity to get a F19 for a decent price. Never used so that is an option to. Just don't know about them yet

I have the t2 and f19 I enjoy the f19 a little more. I hunt 1600-1800s sites all heavy iron. F75 buddy hates his in heavy iron infested sites the iron disc I think it only goes to 13? correct me if I am wrong and the t2 break is at 40 as well as the f19 you can also manually set the break on the f19 and it is very user friendly.

Iron "range" is listed as 15 on the TDI and the tone cut-offs for iron, I believe, use that level. But you can discriminate out signals up to 65.

I hunt sites in fields where houses once sat. Iron infested so.... F19 may be my ticket. I can get a good deal on one. I made the western and eastern treasure mag with my f70 about a year ago. I'm from east central indiana

Why do you say? Just wondering. What about the new F75LTD2? Do you think it handles iron better now with the updated iron audio features? Does the T2 not false on old iron like the F75 does sometimes? I've dug down many a hole with the F75 thinking I had a CW belt buckle, only to find a rusty square nail on edge.

"Better" I guess in that the T2 has 40 display segments in the iron range vs. the F-75's 15.

Does the T2 null out or work around iron for the non-ferrous any different or better in practice? I want to avoid iron, not find it. The 1n and 2L processes let me not hear the iron.

I hunt fields where old houses once sat. I want to hear the iron so I know how close I am to the house. I don't normally dig iron but it is handy to know where it is

You can always watch it in 1n or 2L. The TDI is seperate circuitry from the audio. A great feature of the F-75. Like having two detectors.

Not sure I'd agree that the T2 is better in heavy iron then the F75. I recently hunted an iron infested 1830's site, my buddy using the T2 LTD2 and myself the F75 LTD2, and the F75 finds out numbered the T2 finds by a good 4 to 1, I think it's just learning what the machine is telling you, but I do not mind hunting heavy iron at all with the F75.

Ive had both. Prefer the F75LTD2. I hunt heavy iron all the time and do very well.. Did amazing with my F70 too.

Eat a tater and get the F-19 or the new G2+ (better handle config). The best machine I've ever used in thick iron. The Racer may be an option also

F19 or stay with what you have...T2 and F75 are to similiar in iron to worry about..If you are set on T2 or 75 I would go with F75..More options...pretty dang close to what you already have..

I'm getting the F19. To good of a deal to pass up. Thinking of getting another 6.5" coil for it to. I have had great luck with it in the past
