How well does the fisher f75 hunt in all metal is it a little deeper in all metal and can you tell when your target is deep, and when it is shallow by the sound?

The F75 will detect metal deeper in all metal over the discrimination mode.
Now you must keep in mind, the machine will only give an ID number to a certain depth regardless of whether you're hunting in discrimination or all metal. After that you will only get an audio response from the target while in all metal mode verses silence from the machine when in a discrimination mode.

If you are new with the F-75 SE I would suggest starting out in disc. then go to all metal. I use all metal 2tone bp mode when I am hunting relics. Where in TN. do you live? I live in Roane County near Oak Ridge if not to far apart we might get together and you can try mine out before you buy. HH
