I had to take a break from the computer yesterday so decided to hit the soccer field at a nearby park. I've been wanting to try out the new Garrett AT Pro and ended up trading my Teknetics G2 for an AT Pro a week earlier, so decided to give it a go. I swung it for almost an hour and found some clad and trash. I then went back to the car and pulled out the F75. The AT Pro doesn't have the excellent balance of the F75 and I felt like I couldn't swing it as fast and be confident I wasn't missing anything. This is a newer park with no chance of any old coins so I was just meandering and swinging the F75 when I got a solid 44-45 signal. It was only a couple of inches below the surface and from the deep yellow color looked to be at least 18K. I rubbed off the dirt looking for a mark and was surprised to see a 22k stamp. This park has given up over $700 in gold at melt value.
