Elton...I know that there has been a lot said already and I agree it is truly an amazing detector....I've had mine about four months...Never had a fisher before .....I had a garretts ace 250 and a whites bhid so this is quite a transformation as for as detectors go...When I first got mine the noise factor took a little getting use to, lowering the sens.helps that a lot...I took it out and played around in my own yard my house was built in the 50's but the area had old activity even a civil war hospital in the near vicinity....It was just for convalescing as there were no battles near here in south Ga......I had hit the yard pretty good with the other detectors and they did good jobs at finding things and coins....I found an officers sword belt buckle shortly after getting the ltd about 6-8 inches deep I was only running.. bp..sens 40......disc.21...4htone...I was trying to get over the noise factor.......But as I said these areas had been gone over with the other detectors....My pinpointing was a little off and I broke the back loop off the belt buckle.... there is a pic on the relic and bottle forum....my heart was pounding as I brought it out of the ground it was partially covered with dirt and I was alone my wife inside..I took it in called her over to share in the discovery of what it is as I washed it and saw the Eagle. My wife was suprised but happy....She loves to look at my finds but she won' t detect for love or money I hit an old school yard sometimes and find clad and silver....it has been hit for 30-40 years but the f75ltd will find somemore goodies.
....I, like many other treasure hunters believe things are there that's why we search and find and others don't.....you gotta believe...I found coins from the 40's in my front and back yards ..silver included...4-6-8-inches..they probably were masked and tilted....it helps to walk around a good hit and go slow if it is an iffy signal with some high numbers....You just gotta have time on it....I've gotten use to the noise now if I really want to crank it up.......Sometimes I get false signals...I guess that's what it is,a good sounding target with high numbers but can't find it.....could be iron residue or something as this yard is loaded with iron...I've enjoyed the ride so far....It has got to be a major relic detector,I wish I had a good battle site or camp to hunt...I enjoy very much reading and watching the videos from all of you I would like to thank you all now for that ....HH ..God....Bless....Dan
