F75Ltd upgrade, out for delivery

This is getting old, my detector has been on a truck out for delivery for 3 days now. Each night they take it back across the river and tracking says no delivery attempt made. So since Monday my detector has been within 20 miles of my house.

Bummer

Now that is torture! Mine did make it a little after noon yesterday. Hoping you get yours today. I would be letting them have it both barrels. Call the office and they can contact driver and tell him to get his a** there now. Considering they have had it that long he should go out of his way to get there. HH JR
 
Nice Franklin half there in your avatar, Ron...:thumbup: Dont these drivers know how important detectors are to us? This is a big Planet, the coils are so small, and time is short! Hope you get it before the weekend..

Do really see an avatar on my post? I thought I had those turned off. I don't see any avatars, maybe I just turned them off so that I can't see. I checked and the half was selected, but the picture was so fuzzy I turned it off. I took a good picture of the half but by the time I reduced it down to fit as an avatar it was fuzzy.

Maybe I could work on my avatar while I wait on this detector.

I found it this past summer, and congrats on yours I saw where you found one a few days back.

Ron in my other life I use to get many del. from fedx and brown and if something started getting delayed I would call the dist. point and tell them I would pick it up at said point--even if they had to take it off the truck and DON'T take no for an answer. Good Luck.
 
Ron asking a big favor from you to all of us. WHEN you get your upgraded 75 would you please do your air tests--I still have all your previous tests done with your old 75 and it would help put a lot doubts to rest OR it would increase the outcry to FT to get it right. Thanks.
 
You KNOW he will Togg!...some of the greatest test graphs come out of this guy!:clapping::beers:

My upgraded detector shipped back to Fisher yesterday to check am depth and dst, don't seem to be a noise reduction between 9.0 and 9.1.
 
FedEx in our area is just the worse! they have lost my stuff, broken it, did signature deliveries somewhere else???
Even my Omega came back FedEx and the coil mounting bolt was snapped into, the box had a couple of cardboard holes to mount the coil to, well it took enough impact to snap the bolt. That was the only coil mounting bolt I had for my Omega to!
Our area FedEx scares the heck out of me and that's all First Texas uses. they must do well on their end but anytime I have something coming via FedEx I get a heart murmur condition!

Ron, if they don't deliver it today I think I would just go over there to the FedEx terminal (South Point) and talk to them about just leaving it there and you coming back and picking it up yourself!

Also, send me that picture of Ben and I'll see about down sizing it for an Avatar. Or just try and only view the picture in a LARGE thumb nail and then use the snipping tool to get a screen shot of the smaller image, safe that then use that image for the Avatar.

Me nor my brother Ron uses the All- Metal Mode so, I don't think Ron's to worried about that issue if they took care of the other stuff! And I'm pretty sure that if his F75 will hit and ID a Nickel at 12" he isn't likely to complain that the All -Metal only has the same depth.

Mark, that's UPS in my area. They refuse deliveries/don't attempt. Trash things, etc. Fedex here is top notch. USPS is even better than UPS by a mile.

Our problem with FedEx is they don't have a WV terminal in our area! and they don't have a GPS in their trucks, they are lost here! they don't care because they don't think of us as their customers! Now as for UPS! never lost anything of mine! never broken anything of mine! never marked the tracking out for delivery and not got it that day! USPS is fine but I only use it for smaller stuff.
Now I will never use one the UPS stores! what a rip off, they were going to charge my other brother Greg like $120.00 to ship an F5 back to Fisher, and I had just sent my Omega to the same location for $18.00 "One Hundred And Twenty Dollars" I ship a lot of stuff UPS but I always just drop it off at the UPS counter at the main terminal.

You bet, I already got a blank spread sheet ready to load the numbers into. I am also hooked up forum member petew to do the same testing on his non upgrade 75.

We did make another call, and they say for sure that the package would be delivered this afternoon. They even call us back and said they were sorry, this should have never happened.

Here is what I will be testing for if it ever gets here.

Ron just read the small print on your chart--everything is fine--except that I need to wear my Dollar Tree specs when lookin' at the screen.

The problem he may have is not making them bigger, but posting a larger image on the forum, you may want to ask him about sending them to you in an email.
