Ferrous Quick Mask?

Can I hunt in conductive multi tone but have quick mask set for ferrous audio I don't think I can but in my opinion this would be pretty nifty over those jumpy fe #s that when you switch to quick mask give you good sound with fe #s say in thirties. If quick mask could be set to ferrous if tone stayed high with bad numbers dig if gave you iron pitch more inclined to move on.

Issom is right, thats not possible.

Will, my take right or wrong.
Where iron is a serious issue, hunt in ferrous tones to begin with leaving iron open in the discrim. pattern (if a pattern is used).

Far as i'm concerned, that squeaky high silver tone in multi-conductive is basically a luxury only in iron free zones or for shallower targets.
Forget that great sounding multi-conductive silver squeak in iron infested areas unless you want to spend time playing around with every squeak.
Even in ferrous tones, small corroded iron can sometimes trick the eTRAC.

You have to get a CTX to do that.

Thanks for the responses. I have been leaning towards hunting in ferrous tones more often then not that high pitched silver tone is broke up I do on occasion get it and when its solid its silver but I would most certainly find same coin in ferrous. I think ferrous tones will help me cover more ground where I hunt instead of playing with iffy iron signals. Thanks.
