for just a couple hours after work.....
Nice to get back into it, and I was able to get familiar with the T2's all metal mode. I have to say I like it ALOT. (Brad you were right). Perfect for my type of relic hunting in fields at least, probably not around a trashy foundation site. All metal gives a nice powerful 1 tone unit WITH the numeric ID on the LCD still. I ran sensitivity @ 70, and yes, you hear all the metal objects, & run with a bit of non-bothersome threshold hum. I only dug signals over 40 (iron is lesser #'s). I saw lots of 20's & 30's iron items, & just skipped over 'em. In a large field with sparce signals it was nice to hear it all and "pick" my poisons to dig.
In a hard hunted colonial field I was able to muster up quite a few targets till it gut dark (The backlight will be great on the F-75). I got these small early buttons (usually 50-60's numbers). The top 2 are pewter & all were deep. Also, this brass skeleton key was a solid "84" and I thought "coin" for sure....

A little while later I got another nice tone I thought had "coin possibilities"....(70's numbers).
Up came this large cent sized copper disc, partially broken & I saw words on a thinner piece of copper with an edge that once covered it. Possibly a faked coin or token that had a thin layer rotting away...

hard to tell, but probably not a newer cover or something....could have been a cheap medal or something too?
I hope it was not the remains of one of those mega-rare indian piece medals or something
I didn't end up with a coin this time, but it was nice to swing the T2 and try all metal. Only took a few targets to get comfortable with it that way.......
Here are a few more odds & ends...
The round thing with 2 arms on the left is an interesting unknown piece that needs ID...
