I have been trying to get permission at this house for 3 or 4 years! Yesterday I seen the guy who owns it at home. We got the green light, but only had about 45 mins to hunt. We went back today and did some more.

Here is the mid 1800's home.

1st day - Here are 5 wheats, one Indian Head, a key, an old fishing reel crank, and a bird band. The crank, key, and one wheat came from the bulldozed yard before we got permission at the new old house. The Indian was on top of a wheat.

Today I got 5 wheats, a coal tag, a powder flask, a key, a neat rock, a tooth came out with the small lock (looks to be a human molar)

Powder flask. Notice the fox hunter with top hat, and the dog and tree. An older man came across the road and gave us permission to hunt his mid 1800's home too! :)

Congrats on the permission and the finds for that old place. Where theres one Indian the rest of the tribe is waiting to be re-united.

That looks like a sweet spot to hunt, nice finds :beers:

If the flask would hold water you could freeze it and see if it straightens out any. Water expands 9% when frozen, steve

trying to research it. It says contact Washington DC. But I believe it is from 1941.

I will let you know! :)

Congrats Mike on all the nice finds and for getting two old places to hunt! You are blessed indeed! God Bless! Betty

Now those finds are some you can really sink your teeth into. Or a least somebody did.:wiggle: Nice finds Mike. Just goes to show that if you keep on trying it can pay off.

I'm in Inez, Ky(Eastern Coalfields) Just wondering how close we are to each other.
God Bless
