I got out for a few hours and decided to hit another worked out park. I wasn't there very long and I dug my first Merc at about 8"-9". This is what I got this Sunday. I dug a total of 5 more Silver. They were 4 Merc's dated 1917-d ( High Grade with full bands on back),1919-d,1925, and 1939-d. I also dug 1 Roosevelt Dime dated 1954-d. The 1919-d Merc was a suprise coin with a 1919 Buffalo Nickel in the same hole. I got a reading of 26 on digital and thought it was going to be an older Wheatie. I dug and out pops a Buffalo Nickel and then I knew there was another coin in the hole and it was a Merc. Got to Love finding more than one coin in a hole!!! I also Dug 3 more Nickels today and they are 1 V-Nickel dated 1904 and 2 Buffalo Nickels dated 1919 and 1934-d. Had to use the acid on the '19 to bring back the date. I also found 4 more Wheats dated 1916-d,1919,1920, and 1934-d. And the last find of the day was an old pin that was close to 10" in the ground.
