nice finds:thumbup:

Very, very, very Nice! Nice barber and injuns! :clapping: I wonder if the unidentified item is a tool used to seal letters. Hot Wax then press for a designed seal. Dont know but, thats my best guess. Looking forward to seeing some ID it for ya. Very interesting. Congrats!

Nice finds, congrats!

Nice finds. You always do post neat stuff. I still have yet to find a Barber and only 1 Indian head. Andy taught me how to use my Etrac when he lived here and I know I will eventually find the great stuff if I can just get my coil over it. I do love my Etrac.

Could the thing on the left below the Barber be a spinning top? It looks like one with the tip and handle. It could be like a die that you spin and when it lands it gives you a number or symbol for a game of some sort.

Thanks guys for the comments. The top thing looks like some Dradels that I have looked up but the lettering is different, I'm sure its from some sort of game that is similar.

The spinning top thing is a game played where everyone antes up into a pot. You takes turns spinning the game piece. P4 - Pay 4 (into the pot). T3 is Take 3 (from the pot). There should be a TA on one of the sides for Take All. Thats when the game is over and someone wins the pot. The star might be the TA or when everyone antes up. Not sure what the game is called. Nice finds, btw. JJ

The oval pendant is a St. Benedict's Pendant. C S P B - Crux Sancti Patris Benedicti - St. Benedict's Cross.

Crux
Sacra
Sit
Mihi
Lux

The Holy Cross is my light

Non Draco Sit Mihi Dux

The devil wont be my guide.

Vade Rero Satana Nunquam Suade Mihi Van, Sunt Mala Quae Libas. Ipse Venena Bibas.

Begone Satan, never tempt me with your vanities. What you offer me is evil, Drink the poison yourself.

Nice digs, JJ

JJ is right. The top item is from a game called "Put & Take". You would ante up and spin the top and if it would come up on P2, then you would put 2 in the pot while a T3 would mean to take 3 out. This game is from the pre-computer & pre-ipod days when kids (and adults) actually played board games. Neat find!
