Sat I went to a place that I was at last year and I had some good luck at that time but with the dry summer we had last year the ground was rock hard so I didn't MD much of this place. I figured I would wait until we got some good rains before I went back. Well we have been getting some nice rains this year so I went back to see what I can find.
The second thing I dug was a locking #12, about 2" deep and it turned out to be a ring. Now here is the interesting part. It looks like it could be white gold, but it has 925 stamped inside the band and that number is for silver. I air tested it and it still shows #12. I have found several silver rings that are smaller then this one with a lot less metal and I have never found a silver ring that has come in less then #30. I was talking to a friend about it and he said that it might be white gold but was marked wrong. I guess I need to go and have it tested to see just what it really is.
While I was at this place I also found 3 Merc's and 5 wheat's
Sunday I was driving a round and come across a house that had most of it's yard all tore up so I stopped and asked for permission. The guy told me that I could MD it but some other guy MDed it a week ago. Will the other guy missed a few coins. I found a 1929s Buff and 3 wheat's and it only took me a lil over a hour to MD it.
so those are my finds from this past weekend
