Finds I got during the 4th of July Weekend.:detecting:

You really know how to hurt a guy don't you James. Nice finds once again buddy and my you know what are just aching to get out there. It shouldn't be much longer if all goes well, but now with all the hot weather that we have had the ground is dry not to mention the grass. How often do you have to clean your scanner putting all those dirty coins on it? Good luck on your next hunt and HH.

Eddie

I put dirty items on it. It doesn't take much since I just wipe it clean with a dry rag but it would be better if I had a Digital Camera. Someday I may have to go out and purchase one of them. Glad your doing o.k. and thanks for the reply. I'll try and keep the finds to a minimum so the pain isn't so bad for ya!:poke: Hope to see you out soon and posting again buddy. Until then, get your rest and heal up. I'll dig your share when I'm out. Good Luck and HH Eddie.

I do know for a fact you keep your eyes open and ear open plus do a lot of research and drive as many as 500 miles in one day finding some of these site. I know you get up at 5 in the morning and go until dark and then drive back home many days. You do work for your finds you post and these are actual finds that you work hard to get, but still you are lucky like Tim is to find some of these great find you 2 are getting. I know many are jealous of your finds you post and those you are able to find at those competion hunts, but these are actual finds.
You and Tim are very dedicated to detecting and you do deserve everything you find, but I sure wish you would leave a little for me to find.
You are a inspiration to us all along with a few other on this forum as we know it can be done as you and Bryce and Mike M have proven it to us that there is some great finds out there if you swing the coil over it.

James, first of all Big Congrats on all of the finds you have been making. (Awesome Stuff).:super:

Some of us don't post our finds on the forums anymore,(registered member of this forum since 1999,) I'm talking the people that have been using the Explorer since 1999. This is due to the Petty B/S you get if you happen to make a good find and post it.

Myself and (2) Hunting partners road trip at least (1) day a week and Hunt within a (250mi) radius of our home town. Local hunting to us is 50 miles. Yes the key is research and a willingness to work for your finds, :detecting:

The key word is Explorer..ie.. get off you butt and away from the keyboard and use a great detector and maybe you too can post some good sh..//:throw:

I Bought my first Explorer from The Guvnor in 1999 and never looked back.

I know what the finds are like in your neck of the woods as I have hunted there.
Bismark being one of the City's Parks. That I have hunted in. Found Silver and injun's each time out.

So just keep on keeping on. Don't get upset at the naysayer's as the info you provide is being used by a lot of new people and some of us older hunters as well.

So for me I say thank you. here's to your next outing:cheers:

Not sure if you are a guy or a gal, but judging from your handle you must be a gal. Your opinion that James is not finding the coins he posts is really uncalled for and shows what a shallow mind you have. Like James has said many times on this forum, you do the research and hunt places out of the way and away from your own backyard then it will pay off for you. Not sure how long you have been metal detecting, but you have a long ways to go before you will ever fill the shoes of James and a few other detectorists on this forum. We all have our own opinions, but you are dead wrong on this one. Get off your hind end and do some research like a lot of us do and maybe you can find some nice stuff worth posting instead of making a fool out of yourself with your negative comments. HH. Oh, that stands for happy hunting in case you didn't know.

Eddie

for my finds. I can't help it when I find good sites to detect that still have the Old Coins and stuff we all like to find. The sites are out there and if a person would rather just sit on the computer and give negative remarks about others finds....well then......I guess that might be the reason for some as to why they are not finding stuff like I am. They spend too much time at home when they should be out detecting. I'm not saying all people since a lot of us on here have families to attend to but to the others that don't, don't waste time sitting around doing nothing. Every second you wait means someone else could be detecting a good site and it might be right in your own backyard if you don't do the research and get out and find these spots. Anyways, thanks Rick for the reply. Your a good friend and hope we can get out together somewhere and start finding some good stuff for you. Gotta run since I'm waisting time here when I should be out detecting. Good Luck and HH to you buddy!:detecting:

It's always fun bringing home the Oldies and hope you can bring home a few for your collection as well. Thanks for the reply and Good Luck and HH to you.

Good to hear you found some good stuff in Bismarck. Have been out that way once before and found some goodies myself.

I'm happy you find my posts and info helpful since this is the #1 Reason for me to post on here. To help others and get them pointed in the right direction in finding stuff like I am so fortunate to find.

You can see what I mean then when you start hitting other sites that are new to you. Lots of goodies out there just waiting to be found and well worth a road trip to get them I think.

As for me getting upset.....that is almost impossible. I know there is always going to be a few that don't believe my finds I post and that is fine by me. I just wish they would ask me some questions on how to find spots like the one's I'm hunting or anything else other than give negative remarks. I'm here to help others and my finds are just proof that sites are still around that yeild the Old Coins and Trinkets that we all love to dig up. As they say....Knowledge Is Power! The more you know, the better off you will do.

I thank you for your reply Bill. Good Luck and HH to you on your next trip outdoors.:detecting:
