Finds Pouch

Wanted to here what are the popular finds pouchs used. I use a Kellyco black mesh, woks great, but the Velcro doesn't hold anymore and the zipper gets tight from dirt. Although , a great pouch I think. What you use? HH Mike

i dont use a pouch but this is what i do. coppers/tokens/clad go in my right front pocket. trash goes in the bag in my rear left pocket. cigs in my front left, and pinpointer and root cutters are in my right rear pocket. if it (trash) gets too heavy i take it to another bag to lighten up the load. silver coins are handled with extreme care, i dont put them in anything. i set them somewhere safe and secure. when its time to leave i have little zip-lock baggies i put them in if im lucky enough to find any. i hate scratching up my silver.

sun ray leather pouch! terrific quality two "side sewn pouches for coins, and trash.
top main pouch for lesche, and pro-pointer! buy a belt, and ya got it! mine hangs on my left hip!

I have a couple of the Kellyco mesh bottom pouches and find myself using them most of the time on short hunts. For my longer hunts I have a shell bag for trap/skeet shooting. There are a lot of different ones available, and the quality and selection is better than most of the bags made for detecting. Also I normally carry a old prescription bottle filled with cotton balls for the "keepers". You can use the individual cotton balls to separate the coins and prevent the from getting scratched. Lesche digger and Pro Pointer are normally carried in my left hand, if finds are few and far between they go in the pouch as well.

Got to agree you cant beat the sun ray pouch a very high quality item that will last for years.......Markmac

Modified carpenter's leather pouch, the two pocket type. Large rear pocket - trash, small front pocket - clad, unimportent wheats, and other small trinkets. Rear pocket also holds, water bottle, root cutters, Pro Pointer belt loop is on the automotive seat belt that the pouch is split brass riveted to ( used common dated wheats for back-up washers ). For silver, I use various pill bottles with cotton balls in them, place 1 coin between each layer of cotton. For larger coins, I use the photo portion of my wallet (till I get safely back to my truck) and place them in mylar flips. There is also a small tapered holder on the pouch that I carry my manually operated probe.......NGE

Marty, been noticing what I think is a local thing," just sayin" never heard or seen that anywhere. Where are you from and please send a discriptive meeting. I love to hear local dialog and statements. Thanx, Mike

You all inspired me to go and find a new pouch
I had a tool belt but it was too large and heavy and I did not like it!
going to England soon for a dig and did not want to wait for a back order item so..
went to Lowes and found a lighter black canvas tool pouch with an adjustable belt for about $14
I have my Lesche holder and my Garrett probe holder connected to the belt and I'm set now
Thanks:)
