Finds were scarce today

Zach at LSU

New member
I haven't MDed in over a year, but I've been having the itch lately to get back to it, so I went to the tot lot today at the golf course I work for after watching the LSU Tigers beat Georgia. Didn't get much, but I had fun. 2 clads, m&m's stock car and a hot wheels jeep.

Hey at least you got out there. Do it more often and your finds will improve plus you can hang out here with a great bunch of guys. Love the car. I've got quite a collection of those little buggers.

Are you anywhere near New Orleans
I was there in 1983 and remember the old grave yards.
Do they have any objection to your MDing the walking paths and around the Tombs?
I imagine you'd find some old stuff there. Or maybe not. Others have probably
already thought of that too.

But at least I got out like you. And hey, LSU beat Georgia so there is still some joy left in life :clapping:

I did get to watch a friend of mine do real well with his old GTA 1000. I have made my mind up to get another Garrett GTP1350.
Anybody want to buy some a nice Tesoro Vaquero or Golden?

Thanks for the welcome all. No, Old Katz, I'm in Baton Rouge. I don't know about MDing the paths, but I don't think so around the tombs. My dad told me that whole area was a giant Union Army camp during the Civil War. I could ask Rob Mann, southeast Louisiana's regional archaeologist, about MDing around there. I'm majoring in archaeology at LSU and he is one of my professors. I'm gonna start detectin around campus, lots of history, since the present campus was moved there in the late 1920s.
