Machine works fine. Got one update installed with no problem off of Xchange. With the 1.6.9-1.0.40 update I get a "This update is not compatible with the 3030 firmware Please update the application." No luck with the std update sequence and I don't really want to do a drag and drop manual file copy if it is going to screw up the firmware. Would appreciate some help. Thanks.

Firmware update problem

If it were mine, I'd reinstall the XChange 2 Application (1.69-1.0.40) and give it another shot. After it loads into your PC, reboot the PC. Then turn it on, run XChange2 and see if you can log into it. If you can, plug the CTX into your USB port, turn it on and see if the XChange2 recognizes it. If it does, check for the notice to update the CTX. If something doesn't work this time, let us know and we'll see if we can figure it out. Big thanks. For those of you who may encounter this problem, here is the merged fix steps as gleaned from Digger and earlier posts. The software update for the 3030 installs perfectly on the 1.6.7 Xchange app. To upgrade to 1.6.9 you must delete 1.6.7 and download and install 1.6.9.Guess the 1.6.9 doesn't overwrite the earlier version.
