first barber dime and 3rd class ring

found the barber dime 1909s and wheat yesterday and the class ring today 13 grams my 4th gold ring since sept

Congratulations here to Curtis. So what was the story on the barber? Solid hit or thought you were diggin' a nail? With that much tarnish, looks like it was mixed in with something or found in a wet spot.

the barber was under some pine trees so maybe thats were the tarnish came from
about 3 inches deep pretty good signal but there is a lot of trash in this spot

That's excellent! Do you remember what numbers the ring came in at?
 
Found a barber and seated but no mercury yet thats odd.Great hunt and i thought etrac couldnt find gold

and it was about 2 inches
it was a camp ground next to a lake the ground is full of pull tabs and beer can slag
lets just say when these people camp they burn pallets(nails everywhere) throw beer cans in the fire(can slag and pull tabs everywhere) and then bottle caps and broken glass everywhere
pretty ruff hunting my buddy said it would be a miracle to find gold at this spot

That is a sweet ring. You may be able to find the owner with research. I have returned three rings to very blown away folks one being a $5800 diamond ring of a one week engaged gal who was scared to death to tell her fiancee that she had lost her new ring. That was a good moment I will never forget. If not you got one nice looking ring.
