First class ring! Whoo Hoo! Gold!

Finally, I found a class ring! It is gold, but there's good news and bad news. Good news is it's gold and the guy put his name inside it. So I'll try to find him to return it. The bad news is, that it was hit by a mower. So the stone is gone and it's had a little ding. Probably repairable. We'll see how this story ends. Stay tuned. That's the third gold ring in less than 20 days. Blessed I guess. If your interested, i found it with the DFX with the stock coil. I could have found it with a radio shack model.

Large stones often pop out of rings when the soil freezes solid. Also, if the band is thin at the bottom it will split there from the ice. If the stone is missing look for it in the hole. Small stones don't get popped out by the ice but the bigger stones often do. Jabbo
