First Day out With E-Trac

[attachment 257120 2-14-12.jpg]After what seemed like forever I got a chance to take out my new e-trac and all I can say is I LOVE IT. The ground has been to frozen to dig but the temps came up a little and I took advantage of it. I have been reading everything I could on the machine and doing some air testing along with using the emulator for practice. I have used whites machines for a long time so switching to another brand was very scary for me in many ways. Well the fears have gone away although I still have much to learn about this machine. Here are my finds for the day from a local park and yard I was really impressed with the machines ability to give clean and concise signals and the koss head phones work Great! I found a 1945 D mercury dime a 1897 Indian head 6 wheat cents earliest 1919 3 clad quarters 10 clad dimes 20 plus regular cents shell casing old car and other stuff.

Nice! I too was scared. I used whites for along time but with only two hunts with the etrac I can tell its something I'm going to love and learn from for many years. We are in the same boat, so lets keep in touch through the forums to see our future results! This machine is deep! Found a ww1 small strap buckle at 10+. I hunted this place for years and passes that!

Very nice first run with your Etrac. You will love it more and more with time. Glad you are getting the hang of it, keep up the great finds!

Thanks to all I spend a lot of time playing in the dirt and I have some great sites lined up for this year. There are a couple that are badly trash infested is one reason I got this machine and I am sure looking forward to spending a lot of time in these areas. I will still use my MXT-Pro as it does a fantastic job also in a lot of sites but it now looks like the e-trac will be my go to machine!
