On edge to boot.

Great find! Congrats.

Great find as that is really a nice one with all the outer ridges still showing...Congrats

Great shape as well. Seeing how it was on edge; was it about 2-3 inches away from your pinpoint?? Seems like anycoin on edge is off my plug just a little, in the sidewall. I've scratched more coins that way. Excellent find Mark! Thanks for the great picture.

Congratulations on your first barber quarter :hot::hot: I got my first last week! Bet it stunned the heck out of you didn't it :surprised: . Well, they say things come in threes. I wonder who's next? :detecting: WTG!

My plugs are ususlly 6" in diameter, and yes both coins were 3-4" off center in the side wall of my plug. Just plain lucky I didn't mark either of the two.
I might have to start narrowing down the pinpoint more in this area. Hey, one of my hunting buddies believe there has to be a gold coin there somewhere.

Great find Mark, that is on my wish list. -- Randy
