I got my first half dime today. Surprised it only VDI at 53 - down 5". Also silver quarter was only down 1''.

Very nice find with the half dime! (Tested one that I have and VDI was the same.) We just don't get many of those out west here and never have found one myself.
 
Rare find indeed, kinda makes you think twice the next time you get a deeper zinc cent.
