Taken 5 outings to find my first hammered coin. All 5 sites visited were to all intensive purposes worked out. But the ctx found loads of non ferrous but no silver coins until now. The coin is a silver farthing and as you can judge by the ruler somewhat on the small size. Not very valuable but real job satisfaction on finding these small coins.. I do in fact find it tiring picking up the tiny bits of non ferrous that the ctx throws up.
