first hunt of 2017.......

Got out for my first hunt this year at a schoolyard that has been sold to private party so these will be the last from there. Weather has been TERRIBLE here with squall after squall but even tho I managed to get in 3+ hrs of hunting, myself and the mighty etrac got soaked. I managed this stuff and dug 30 coins total. While I was there a lady came over and asked if I could try and find her silver earing she lost last winter while plowing snow? I reluctantly agreed but really wanted to hunt coin. I told her that said earing (or any object) is NEVER where you think you lost it but I gave it a shot and right away I found it right where she thought it would be.....lol She ran a little coffee shack and I got a free coffee!!! It was nice to get out and pop the Barber and the war nickel...... Probably won't get in much tecting this season but we'll see...????
