Well I had just received my Deus and needed to go try it out right away. i only had about 45 mins before I had to pick the kids up, so I took it to a park close to the school. I was doing a lot of swinging and careful listening to the, new to me, sounds of the xp deus. I dug the solid/repeatable tones and found some coins, pull tabs and can slaw. After about 8-10 targets I got a solid 50/53 hit. Used my screwdriver as it was giving a double beep so I knew it was close to the surface and out popped a 14k white gold band with 3 diamonds!
Now I know that all detectors can find gold and you just have to get your coil over top of one but ooohweeee!!! I got high hopes and high expectations for this Deus now.
