First jewelry find with my new E-TRAC - a nice big silver ring!

Today I had my first jewelry find with the new E-TRAC. A nice big old silver crest ring found in a park near my house, 4" underground.

I am still trying to put in a couple of hours a day on the detector to figure out what the tones and numbers mean, and let me tell you, I have dug enough pennies at 12" and still can't remember what their FeCO numbers are supposed to be before I start digging LOL. I think I will write a cheet sheet down on my hand or something. Now I know why White's has little coin and ring icons on their displays!

I was digging pennies out of iron filled holes, which is either completely insane, or speaks to the target sensing ability of the E-TRAC (or both)

Using the Bill_S Trashy Park Program for this find. It simplified the audio coming into my ears.

just remembr this,,,,,, other items ring in at penny numbers ,,,, so if ya want the jewlery,,,, dig the pennies also !!!!
