First Kennedy

I fround one last fall, it was not silver but it was in good condition. It was in the out field of a ball field.

Nice find.
I found one in a kids playground area right next to a steel pipe fence post using a 4" puck type coil a few years ago.
Probably a kid took it to the park and lost it.
I consider myself lucky.

Always nice to find 1/2 dollars. They are so rare to find no matter what type. One time, on my way to the garbage can to get rid of trash,
I found a clad Kennedy 1/2 dollar. Then I decided to circle round and found 2 more 1/2 dollars. Too bad they werent silver but still very fun.

Never forget my 1st half dollar. I had the good fortune to find a virgin neighborhood park. When I removed the plug, there was a white line in the brown dirt.
What a beautiful sight. It was a walking liberty on edge !!!! Awhhh the good old days.

Congrats on your first and many more to follow !!!
