Wow! I don't seem to log on here anymore unless I find something and want to post it. . .but you guys are all on fire! Lots of great stuff comin' out of the ground for everyone!
And to Guvner and Bryce - You guys are kickin @ss too! Call me one of these days when you're heading out and maybe I can meet up with you. It's always a blast! If nothing else, I seem to be good at finding clad lately. . .I'll probably just clean up the dirt for you guys. . .
I finally managed to get out again today, and had some luck. It's my first SL quarter this year, and she's a beauty! The other stuff isn't anything special, but I never get tired of seeing silver in the hole! I get out so seldom now, and our parks in good ol' StL are so heavily hunted that I get excited over any silver, almost like when I first started detecting. . .perspective is a funny thing.
Out of all 6 of these silvers, only 2 sounded like they might be silver. The others were all on edge and in iron. 2 of the 3 quarters, including the SL were a total shock to me. They both ID'ed as pennies, and had iron in the hole with them. Just one more reason to always dig those penny hits. . .
Good hunting,
Mark
