First run with Coiltek coil-nails and seated

First run with the 10x5 coil Hunted in my front yard that I have probably hunted 200 hours on with etrac(and 3 coils) Ctx with stock and 6". I have seriously hit this yard so many times I never thought anything would come out of here again. This yard has produced a total of 2 silvers and maybe 10 wheats and 1 V-nickel. It is so filled with nails that I usually hunt in TTF. So I'm in TTF and i get an OK signal. If I went slow or really slow I COULD NOT get the signal??? It would just grunt. I had to swing what I would consider fast(compared to usual on my Minelabs)It was hard to pinpoint and I actually walked away once. I eventually got it by quick short swings-so naturally I was convinced it was another nail. Down no more than 4" was this beauty-only my 2nd seated ever and new oldest. So initial thoughts......seems to like the nails a little BUT got the nice seated that I know i have been over many times.

Very nice

Nice. I have found that I sometimes have to swing the ctx very fast over a suspecting target to get it to chirp after getting a good response once and then it goes away. I am liking the coiltek coil too. I went to a very trashy park that I have detected many many times and found a silver Washington quarter and a Rosie today. So far, so good.

Sometimes intuition plays a bigger role than anything else:laugh: way to listen to your inner self and dig that beauty up!

Sweet pull!
