First Silver found with new SE Pro...and Silver everywhere!!:surprised:

Steve the more silver you have it tends to hit lower.... unlike many machines. A good example is a quarter and half... the half is lower on the digital and smartscreen. You get all kinds of weird signals when coins are together.

[size=large]someone didn't trust the banks. would seem that whoever buried them didn't trust anyone. didn't tell the next of kin about it. really would like to know the story on this cache. congatulations.

unbelievable.......a 10!:yikes:

Simply, WOW! :clapping:

WTG glad it didn't overload your detector.....that would be my luck!!

I am still flying high over finding that cache. I am not sure what circumstances prompted somebody to bury that kind of silver, but the date range is quite varied, so I am guessing it was buried in the depression period. As it was said, that was alot of money back then, and maybe someone didn't trust banks. I am just glad they forgot to come back and get it...:smoke: I have not been back to the site, but my buddy was, and said he went over it with a fine tooth comb, but made no more recoveries, except for a 10kt ring. I will have to go back, just in case he missed something.:heh: This one will be hard to top, but it sure makes you want to get out and find some more stuff. HH to everyone! :detecting:
