First V nickel !!

cintisteve

Well-known member
Ive been hunting for over 1 1/2 yrs and today;I found my first V nickel. I realize it not much compared to some of you guys finding them all the time; but ;youre talking to "the Q man".I hardly ever find anything old. I realize thats because I hunt mostly school yards and parks.

Its a beauty in my eyes though. A 1908.Probally not worth much. Thinking about buying a beezel and putting it on and wearing on the gold chain I found for good luck. Hopefully its a start of good things to come.

I found my 11th sac dollar of the yr;another matchbox car; old nozzle; more clad ; and trash.HH

I've got a couple this year myself. I know what you mean about a lack of older sites. Nice find. Rob

Big Congrats on the V nickel cintisteve , they are not a common find by any means. I personally have only found two, an '09 and a '11, and they are the two deepest coins I have ever found. Both were with the 1270 and 10.5 coil ,and both were at 9+ inches. ..HH...

It's a beauty in everyones eyes Steve..Congratulations Nice find
