First VX3 Ring

Texas-Steve

New member
I went out to detect for a bit today and found lots of clad and a turquoise ring. I dint know how to post a picture or I would. It was about 4" deep at an old house that I used to play at when I was a kid. The house is vacant and needs to be fixed up. Windows and doors boarded up so the new owner said just don't leave any big holes. Windy here today but still lots of fun to find jewelry.

First of many to follow, congratulations.

Here is this ring I found, kinda beat up, but still a ring

thanks for posting the picture, pretty silver ring. It doesn't matter how rough they are..its a real joy finding them :)

Nice 1rst ring! Yup, she looks a little rough but you can do a lot to straighten her up by putting it on a metal ring ferl to reshape, mineral oil to enhance color, and a metal polishing. Not much you can do about the eroded stone but hey....it's your "first" and that is the important thing. Clean it up, throw it on a chain, and gift it to someone who finds "you" important or....let it rattle around in a box and appreciate it every time you are pawing through it. Very good find.
