Hi all, I need too tell you about my experience with the makers of the Fisher F5. Recently I had a problem with the gain switch, it would not display any numbers on the screen, so I sent it in to Fisher to be repaired, bearing in mind that it was almost out of warranty and that I am in Melbourne Australia. After a few weeks they returned it, but the problem was still there. I emailed Felix and he replied and asked me to send it back to them. I told him that it was getting expensive to keep sending it back and forth and wouldn't he, you know, rather just send me a new control box? Guess what, Felix says to me OK I'll send you a new control box, how about that!:wiggle: Finally the new control box arrives, and I go to plug in my old coil and guess what the plug won't fit because the new F5 has a screw-in plug and mine was the old push in:cry: So I emailed Felix and asked him if he could send me a new plug and I would rewire it.( This is where I asked on this site if anyone knew how to rewire the F5 plug (and 'Occupant' duly sent me the wiring diagram, thank you once again I.). Felix couldn't send me a screw in plug, so what did he do? He sent me a brand spanking new coil:wiggle: How good is Felix and his merry gang? Thank you Felix, thank you Fisher.:clapping::ausflag::beers: P.S. sorry for all the smileys.:crazy:oops.
 
Ya Felix i had similar problems when i sent in my F5 with the push in connector, Felix called me and said since it was just purchased he was sending me a new unit with the screw in connector and asked me if i had purchased another coil, i had purchased a 11" coil with the push in connector he said i will send you a new unit with both coils and i was asked to just send in my 11" coil when i received the new ones.

When i received the new unit i sent back the coil as promised, but what other company would trust you to do this, a Man of His word Thanks Felix
 
Felix is the man and hes a man of honor and guys like him are the epitome of customer service! My only dealings with Felix is when I had to send my Goldbug SE back with the 5 inch coil. Great guy to talk to! Does he read these posts? The company should give him a pat on the back!

White's has been known forever for outstanding customer service but as a new F75 owner, I'm glad to here Fisher takes care of it's customers too!!
