the first time Karter ran. I voted for him. The second time he ran I told my union rep to pizz off. They wanted me to vote for Skerry too. I was walking down the hallway and my union rep, a different one, said, "Don't forget to vote" I told him I would not but I was not going to vote the way "HE" wanted me to. He said, "We have to talk"
I told him the Union wanted me to vote for Jeffery Feiger-Kavorkians lawyer and an ambulance chaser- for Governor of Michigan and the could KMA! He knew better than to argue and walked off.
I will tell you, one heck of a lot of Union Members feel the same way I do about politics. The don't buy that crap. I told them one time at a meeting that the ought to stick with negotiating our contracts and quit lining the politicians pockets. The protect drunks and lazy and at the working mans expense. Pizzes a lot of us off but it is what we have.
I have a good retirement after 42 years of going in that shop but since I retired I have lost my dental, eye glasses and my deductable has gone up a lot.
This deal the Unions got with the medical is BS. Now I am not going to refuse it but I sure the heck don't blame anyone for being pissed off. We ALL should be upset. Nobody should get screwed by this ObamaCare crap.
I do get upset when people that are not in the Union are too blind to not know the difference between the union members and the Union. Big difference. We have no choice. In the UAW we have no say who is our Union President at all or any of the other bloodsuckers at Solidarity Hall.
I was with a group of Union Members that picketed Solidarity House, the Union Headquarters in Detroit, back in the 80's. There were about 20 of us. Man that did not make them happy but they finally started listening to us over the issue they were ignoring!
Oh yeah!! Our insurance will not pay for our Viagra any more either

There is a screwing for you

Um, or not??
