Found A 1947 Dime Today

Went to a really cool looking old abandoned house today. This house has a cut sandstone foundation - so I would say it was built in the later part of the 1800's. Tons of junk metal made it really tough to get through to the deeper targets. Ended up finding a 1947 Roosevelt Dime - 1958 Nickel - 1965 Quarter ( just missed silver by one year) and four other new coins that were probably dropped by kids playing in the yard. Plan on going to go back to this house soon - will have to crawl around real slow and see if I can squeek out any other old coins.

Nice Find! Congratulations!

Sounds like you had to work pretty hard for it. Were you using the 6" coil?

Yes - using the 6" Excellerator Coil.

Nice silver, thanks for the picture, hope you find more there. -- Randy

A one silver day? Sometimes I'd be tickled pink, an old Rosie t' boot. Thanks for the picture Mark.
