Found A Buffalo Nickel Last Night

E-Trac-Ohio

Well-known member
Hunted the back of a field behind a local high school last night. Winter's here again - snowing hard and the grounds getting frozen solid again - only stayed out for an hour.
Really can't complain - we're lucky we can still get out at all this time of year !
Found a 1935 Buffalo Nickel and a 1947 Wheat Cent. :detecting:

HH --- Mark

Thanks for the pictures Mark. We're supposted to have another round of "artic" air blast through too. Our ground never really thaws out until spring though. I think last year it was Mid-March. We'll see what it does this year. Congratulations on the finds!

Yes, the Buffalo's in pretty rough condition - but it still counts !:wiggle:

Very nice finds!! You must have 10 layers of clothes on when hunting! My ground ( Mansfield area ) is hard as a rock!! It's Great that you can get out !

Nice ones Mark! Glad you were able to squeeze in a quick hunt. Thanks for sharing the pictures with us. I hope your winter is a short one.

Those buffaloes are always fun to find, I've never found one in very good shape but still good to find em. Thanks for the pictures. HH -- Randy
