Found a negative Vaquero review

I am a Vaquero owner and a loyal Tesoro user for many years. First, let me say that whoever wrote this article," Is Not" a Tesoro owner/operator. It has been my experience over the years that their products and service are First Rate. I have had a couple of minor problems with my detectors from time to time ( they are electronic you know ) and they were fixed quickly and correctly free of charge. My hat is off to Tesoro and it's fine service dept..Signed, Wesley Ingram, a real Vaquero owner.

Type NAFTA in Google and read all about it.

I would take my vaquero with the stock coil to any place (not under water of course). and I have another great machine with vdi

They have a good customer support, I can confirm it living in Europe

If a person is new to detecting, New to that product....then I can see why a concern would be raised.. That doesn't make them a "Moron". A negative post like he sited, just raised a flag, and a concern they have.
No doubt..and as Larry said..the post was bogus all the way.. But if you didn't know that.......and you were reading about a detector.. a negative post would get your attention..

I think he did the prudent thing by asking here for opinions, and positive responses...

not even a little true,,,,,,, Tesoro would NEVER treat someone like that !!!!! Best customer service on the planet

I would hate to think another detector manufacturer used a shill of sorts to belittle another manufacturer so lets assume it was written by uniformed source as anyone that has ever dealth with Tesoro knows not a shred of truth in this post.

The Guy probably didn't know how to even turn it on.I been metal detecting for 25 years and always owned a Tesoro.Tesoro is second to none for Quality and for service.I have a Vaquero I'm using right now and and its one of the best detectors I have ever used.Tesoro,Great Company,Great Detectors.

45 posts and with a rating of 4.8 out of a possible 5 stars.... I don't think this is consistant with what everyone else thinks about the Vaquero including me.. I have had one since 2007 and love this little gem.
I certainly don't have any gripes about mine and if anything happens to it, I will be getting another one quick to keep in my arsonal of detectors.
I don't know what is happening in this case, but this is the first time I have heard of anyone complaining about bad performance from a Vaquero.
I wouldn't let this one review sway me from buying one with all the positive reviews posted.
I sure don't see anyone that replied to this post agreeing with this person!!!

I also have a Vaquero and it is the best detector I have. It will hunt with me for years to come. I have found after twelve years or so detecting that Tesoro makes some of the best and most reliable machines out there. The person using the machine has to read the manual many times and get out and hunt with it to learn how to use it. Air tests mean very little out in the field because older objects buried for years have a halo around them that shouts at you as you pass over them. I decided after using ID machines for a decade or more that I was loosing good finds because the ID said it was probably trash. I switched to the Vaquero with a Compadre as a backup and my good finds ratio to trash went to the good side. It is easy to get tired out in the field and start relying too much on the ID. When you get tired just take a break and remember nothing can predict 100% what it is until you dig it up. The Vaquero will hunt head to head with any machine out there if the owner knows what they are doing.
